just got back from the red carpet of the 2009 mtv movie awards, where i was covering the show for radaronline.com. the mtv red carpet was abuzz with everyone’s favorite category “best kiss”, as well as everything “twilight”. being a huuuge twilight fan, myself, i couldn’t have been happier. whatever you call a mega-fan…twilighter, twihard…that’s me! not only was did twilight win in 5 categories, including best movie and best kiss, but the premiere of the “new moon” trailer aired during the show (which looks amazing, can’t wait!).

i had a chance to interview almost all of the cullens including esme (elizabeth reaser), carlisle (peter facinelli), alice (ashley greene), and emmett (kellan lutz). unfortunately, we missed kristen stewart- she only did a handful of interviews because she arrived minutes before the show started and suprisingly, robert pattinson was a no-show on the carpet. luckily he made it to the award show, looking adorably smug to accept numerous awards and share a steamy almost-kiss with kristen on-stage.

besides the twilight cast, the entire cast of high school music 3 graced the carpet, as did will ferrell and danny mcbride, bruno, miley cyrus, luke goss, shawn johnson and mark ballas, peeps from the hills, and the cast from dance flick. while interviewing the gorgeous shoshanna bush from about her thoughts on who would win the award for “best kiss”, she actually leaned in mid-sentence to kiss me! after years of interviewing rappers, rockstars, being at crazy parties, red carpets, and on the racetrack…it takes a lot to ruffle my feathers and i must admit that i was left blushing and speechless :)

in other fun interview moments…derek mears, the scary villian from friday the 13th tried to strangle me. shane sparks attempted to teach me his new signature dance move called “the wacky”. and i chatted with kristen bell, dr. drew, and shawn johnson about…kissing, naturally.
